About Rebecca

My journey to Pilates didn’t begin in a gym. It began in a dance studio. Then a yoga studio. And then finally in my living room, in front of a computer screen, looking for a way to challenge myself and pursue what made me happy in the middle of a global pandemic.

Enter, Pilates.

Thanks to my training as a performer and dancer, plus my commitment to an anatomy-based yoga practice, my approach to Pilates is all about body awareness. I believe that the key to strength, balance, and longevity is to truly understand about how your body moves. Joseph Pilates knew this too, and his exercises are the foundation for lifelong fitness.

In my professional life, I’m a nonprofit consultant and trainer, with a passion for client success. This energy and commitment to my clients translates to the mat with functional, approachable workouts designed to challenge, inspire, and invigorate.

I was trained and certified to teach mat Pilates by Linda Farrell (LindaFit Pilates) in New York City. I currently live in Lafayette, CA with my husband and two adventurous kitties, Abby and Lucy.

What People Are Saying

Rebecca’s pace was excellent and the instructions clear. I really liked how the class was short enough that I knew I could keep going without thinking I should stop.

After working as a nurse for 10 hours a day 40 hours a week for 47 years, I need to work out and correct those years of poor posture. Little by little it can be done. Thanks for the help and suggestions!!!

I’ve been with Rebecca from the beginning. She is a natural teacher and only continues to improve. She is able to respond well to specific questions and requests, so even group classes feel personal.
